E-Newspaper for Grassroots Development

January 18, 2007: The media at large (TV and Newspapers) has resorted to sensational and
commercialized news-reporting and publishing due to its compulsions.

An urgent need for a newspaper/periodical which covers the news from the
grassroots, about the poor and resource-less people, about the good
initiatives, events and all other information related to the development
sector is felt by one and all.

I'm glad to inform you about a newspaper, complete with all the news, views,
articles, events/happenings and advertisements/releases relating to the
sector - going to be launched very shortly and delivered directly in your
mailbox.

It is being launched by a media group with interests in the social sector.
They are inviting articles, news, views, features, columns and everything
relevant for the newspaper.

Interested individuals and organizations interested in volunteering on a
long term basis can also write about the same.

Advertisements, releases, tenders, bid invitations etc. can also sent as a
soft copy and be published as an advertisement in full colour/B&W in the
newspaper at very reasonable rates (Rs. 100/- per square inch).

They also provide all sorts of communication, advertising, event management,
training, MIS and institution building support on a FAIR-COST basis to the
development organziations.
